This is definitely not a unique recipe, as I got the idea off the internet but it's so good! It's definitely on rotation of dips and spread.
1 15-oz can no-salt chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed and drained 1/2 of a small to medium avocado 1/4 cup lime juice 1/4 cup fresh cilantro 1/4 cup fresh parsley 1 tsp salt 1 small clove garlic, minced 1/4 tsp ground cumin 1/4 tsp black pepper 2tbs olive oil 1/4c water Few leaves of parsley, cilantro and 1 tsp of olive oil garnish
In a food processor, combine all your ingredients expect your garnishes 😂Process/blend about 2 minutes or until nearly smooth, scraping down the sides as needed.
Once it’s reached your desired consistency add hummus to a serving bowl. Drizzle with 1 teaspoon olive oil, and garnish with parsley and cilantro. (Optional)
