All Progress is Good Progress!

All progress is good progress!

Never lose sight of that, and stop comparing your progress to someone else’s!

I want to tell you about my client Katie.

She’s been working with me for around 9 months now and has lost around 15 pounds!

15 pounds sounds nice… But when you do the math, she’s dropped, on average, less than .5 pounds per week.

Now, a lot of people might be read that and say her progress has been too slow…

I know Katie has expressed that view to me.

But I disagree, I think Katie’s progress has been just right. The reason being, in the past 6 to 7 months, Katie has lost and actually maintained each new weight milestone.

She’s not yoyo-ing, going up and down...

She’s living her life outside of her diet. She hasn’t given up.

What’s more, she’s down 4 inches from her waist and 4 inches from her hips.

What’s even more, she’s built a slew of habits and strategies that are making it easier for her to stay consistent and continue seeing results even through this pandemic.

So in the short term (6 to 18 months), her progress might seem slow, but in the long run (5 to 10 years from now), she’s going to come out on top because of what she’s doing now!

By doing things the right way.

Your take away, stop worrying about how quickly or slowly you’re losing weight!

Look, if you’re seeing changes on the scale, in the mirror, with measurements, with how clothes fit, or in how you feel...you’re doing well!

What you need to do instead, is focus on the habits your building and the strategies you’re implementing to get results.

How YOU get results is SPECIFIC to YOU!
