Scrumptious Sautéed Apples

Ok so I told you guys that I was focusing my September blogs on apples! If you didn’t read the last blog, let me give you a brief rundown on the nutritional benefits of eating apples.

  1. Low calories (about 95 in one medium sized apple.

  2. High in vitamin c and potassium

  3. Antioxidant rich!

There have been studies that suggest that apples may protect against heart disease, diabetes and certain cancers!

Snack on a apple when you’re feeling hungry in between meals! It’s a delicious filling snack!

Or.... you can have a serving of this yummy snack, as a low calorie treat!

Scrumptious Sautéed Apples


2 small Honey crisp apples

1 tsp melted butter

2 tbs unsweetened apple juice or cider

1 tsp brown sugar

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1 scoop of frozen yogurt

Preheat your air fryer to 350. Line basket with parchment paper, spray with nonstick spray.

Cut apples into quarters, remove cores cut quarter pieces into slices. Toss butter and apples in a medium bowl.

Mix apple juice, brown sugar and cinnamon in a smaller bowl and toss with apples.

Cook 6-8 minutes, shaking halfway through cooking, until soft and slightly golden. Transfer to serving bowls and serve with frozen yogurt. 😋
