I love snacking. It’s taken me some time to learn how to curb my snack cravings. When I go shopping and I walk down the snack aisle, I get overwhelmed at all the different options with regards to crackers and chips! 😂😩
Last weekend, I was binge watching Top Chef with my mother in law and in one of the Quickfire challenges the chef made pita chips! I LOVE pita chips! And just like that, I got up grabbed my car keys and went to the grocery store.
Only thing with this recipe...
I’m using a air fryer to cook them! 😉
2 Whole Wheat Pita Bread Rounds
3 tbs Grated Parmesan Cheese
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
¼ tsp Garlic Powder
Preheat air fryer to 350 degrees.
Cut each pita round in half horizontally, split into 2 rounds. Cut each round into 6 wedges. Spray wedges with nonstick cooking spray.
Combine parmesan, Italian seasoning and garlic powder in a small bowl. Sprinkle evenly over pita wedges.
Cook 8-10 minutes, shaking occasionally during cooking, until golden brown. Cool and enjoy!!!
